Job Description
Responsible for the Product Revenue / Profitability of Global Transaction Services (GTS) products, namely Cash Management (Payables, Receivables, Account Services & Liquidity Mgt), Trade Finance & Services including Commodity / Structured Trade Finance.
Develop and deliver competitive products / solutions that meet the requirements of customer base in Vietnam.
Market and sell our product capabilities to both local and regional customers.
Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) namely, plan revenues, expenses, headcounts, cost to income ratio, return on equity, and other KPIs. etc.
Promote and build up our image and credibility as a professional deliverer of GTS products in Vietnam.
Develop Business Case and Strategic Plan for all GTS products that will encompass market analysis, market segmentation, product definition, competitive scan, pricing / costing / revenue strategies, customers’ buying behaviour etc.
Submit for approval all business cases (both Strategic and Tactical) that require investment funding.
Actively work on Request for proposals (RFPs) and bid on both domestic and cross border cash management / trade deals.
Develop good financial management information / product metrics and any relevant analytics that will facilitate management of the products and to drive the business in Vietnam.
Manage and provide full range of customer relationship support to Corporates and Financial Institutions at optimum quality / cost mix while maintaining strict adherence to institutional and regulatory policies and guidelines.
Develop a Service Oriented Organisation through Service Training, Service Statesmanship, use of Service standards / indicators, service focus groups and roundtables and most importantly to inculcate a service culture within the group.
Partner with Technology & Operations to ensure optimal and appropriate processing capability and service standards.
Recruit, train and motivate staff to achieve high degree of management effectiveness, processing and marketing abilities and management continuity.
Job requirement
Proven Track Record and Leadership in managing the GTS Business.
Proven Product Management skills and keen knowledge of GTS products and competition, both in country and the region.
Good Product Sales skills and able to market / sell product capabilities / solutions to corporate / institutional client base.
Good Managerial skills and able to manage a team of Product Managers and Product Sales.
Strong Product Knowledge, features and capabilities, regulatory, legal, tax etc
Strong knowledge of in-house capabilities, both front end customer applications and back end processing systems.
Strong knowledge of customers’ requirements / expectations and trends / drivers in market place.
Ability to galvanise marketing segments (Corporate and Financial Institutions) to sell GTS products.
Financial Management, both in managing the Product profitability and as well as sufficient product metrics to manage and drive the business.
Strong Selling skills.
Ability to effectively market products through use of advertisements, participation in conferences, seminars, development of marketing collaterals.
Good solid understanding of our in-house front end and back office processing capabilities.
Good understanding of in-house policy relating to Audit requirements, Information Security, compliance requirements.
Good understanding of all rules / legislation relating to Uniform Customs & Practices, IncoTerms, Documentary collection, Standby Letters of Credit, Bills of Exchange
On the marketing and sales, excellent working relationship with all Customer Segments.
On the delivery side, excellent working partnership with Technology & Operations.
