Job Description
Ensure that the smooth operation of pastry and bakery kitchens at all time.
Carry out On Job Training for all pastry and bakery staffs.
Ensure that the highest quality of food standards is being maintained.
Assist in ensuring that food cost is well controlled.
Abide by Rules and Regulations set by Management Company.
Ensure that continuous effort is being maintained with regards to Company’s Vision and Mission Statement. .
Assist in evaluation of all employees on a regular basis to ensure that productivity levels and staff working spirits are maintained.
Assist and involve in Menu planning.
Carry out proper Safety Standards Training together with Chief Steward in ensuring that all Food Handlers are aware of their potential hazardous working environment.
Ensure that Market Lists and Purchasing procedures are well organized on a daily basis.
Ensure that High Standards of Sanitation and Cleanliness are well maintained at all time.
Job requirement
Strong leadership and training skills
Minimum of 5 years of Culinary Experience (2 years up as Pastry Chef) in 5-star hotels or resorts.
