Job Description
Support the Trading Software Provider in establishing a commercially driven function, which aligns to service based model.
To be responsible for the delivery of technical changes to the applications and infrastructure
To maintain and improve the quality and cost management of the IT and devices services.
Maintain stability of the service offering;
To ensure maximum availability of computer systems throughout the Company.
Responsible for the provision of IT infrastructure services including desktop applications, Local and / or Wide area networks, IT security and telecommunications.
Development and implementation of new systems.
Working with senior management to propose, agree and deliver IT service to defined Service Level Agreements.
Develop and be responsible for the IT Budget for IT dept.
To manage the IT department including staff appraisals, disciplining, pay reviews and career development.
Responsible for IT hardware, software and maintenance procurement.
To develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
To develop and control the IT security policy.
To maintain and develop the company website.
Direct the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures and standards relating to information and telecommunication systems.
Responsible for researching and evaluating new technologies.
To prepare regulatory reports as required
To prepare adhoc report based on achod requirements.
To prepare monthly management reports on all aspects of the IT Department
To assist the COO in the preparation of budget and business plan
Job requirement
Bachelor degree in IT.
Minimum 5 years experience in same position with multinational companies. Working experience in a securities company is a plus
A broad understanding of computer systems, network, IT infrastructure, applications and operating systems
Experience of managing multiple IT disciplines i.e. software development, technical support, systems architecture etc.
In depth experience of negotiating with and managing third parties
High sense of responsibility and able to work under high pressure;
