Job Description

  • Fundraising -- Oversees fundraising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, researching funding sources, establishing strategies to approach investors, submitting proposals and administrating fundraising records and documentation. Develops and sustains a diverse funding base.
  • Program and Product Development-- Oversees design, marketing, promotion of new investment products, including private equity, ETFs, retirement products.
  • Community and Public Relations -- Assures the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders. Work closely with SSC to develop legal framework for retirement products in Vietnam.  To serve as educator to SSC and public for retirement products.
  • Financial, Risk and Facilities Management – To prepare the annual budget for renewal for Board approval and prudently manage organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations.
  • Human Resource Management -- Recruits, manages, inspires, motivates and empowers a strong staff team; develops and implements appropriate human resource policies and procedures, including training, career development, hiring and firing, succession planning, and performance management for all staff. Oversees an appropriate organizational structure and ensures that the programmatic objectives are supported internally: facilities, technology, finances, communication, and functional needs.
  • Board Administration and Support -- Supports operations and administration of Board by advising and informing Board members, interfacing between Board and staff, and supporting Board's evaluation of chief executive.


   

Job requirement

  • Significant and proven leadership skills developed through several years in senior management positions. Excellent organizational development, interpersonal, marketing, communication, administration and personnel management skills essential.
  • Success and track record at fund development and fund raising, ability to identify investors, build up fund base.
  • Experience in start-up organizations, production development, law, business in Vietnam
  • Is visionary, trustworthy, diplomatic, understanding and innovative with high energy level
  • Experience managing a complex budget
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; strong presentation skills
  • The ability to foster a healthy organizational culture, to encourage teamwork and collaboration; strong interpersonal skills that include the ability to inspire and motivate; effective at conflict management
  • Ability to raise the visibility of the organization through successful marketing
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Multi-cultural sensitivity
  •  Experience working with and developing an effective Board of Directors
  • Legislative political savvy.
  • Computer literate
  • Strong reference for overseas Vietnamese
