Job Detail: Senior Treasury Back Officer

• Reporting to:

            -       Head of Department

            -       Chief Operating Officer

• Primary responsibilities: 

            -       To be responsible for processing Money Market (MM) transactions, Bonds, Certificate of deposit (CD), Derivatives,  Open market operations (OMO), Overdraft (OD) and others new products.  

            -       To handle and solve internal and external issues/ mismatch arising from daily treasury back office operations

• Secondary responsibilities

           -       To back up other Treasury back office.

           -       Other assignments required by the COO or Head of Dept.

• Reports requirement.

           -       Daily List of Outstanding

           -       Daily Deals Control reports

           -       Weekly Pending Documents report

           -       Monthly Bond Control Report

           -       Other reports required by Management.

• Key performance indicator (KPI)

           -       Team work

           -       Number of Treasury transactions processed

           -       Accuracy of money in, out

           -       100 % transactions are processed in line with internal and external policies and procedures and within time frame.

           -       Regulatory breaches: level of fines and its seriousness.

           -       Number of outstanding items which are not handed in properly manner which lead to loss or to affect bank’s reputation

           -       Suspense and Clearing accounts are reconciled as soon as they are found

           -       Statistics and reports are completed accurately and by deadlines.

           -       Operating risk events are reported timely in line with procedures.
