Job Description |
As a HEAD CHEF, you can be ready to face the following duties and responsibilities:
- Hiring, training, growth and motivation of all kitchen staff.
- Food costs, portioning control, wastage minimization.
- Maintaining the restaurant equipment in good order through proper use and regular maintenance.
- Ensuring the strictest levels of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
- Setting the high standard for food preparation, presentation and storage.
- Oversees ordering, inventory, prep, food handling and sanitization.
- Roistering staff and assigning daily duties.
- Assisting in menu development.
- Communicating effectively with all departments.
