Job Description
Main Responsibility:
Lead analytical review of hotel performance for each owned and managed property, working closely with Corporate and hotel teams.
Lead analytical review of The Hotel Froup performance.
Develop comprehensive controls strategy by consolidating Finance review and audit findings and developing action plan.
Drive financial systems strategy.
Complete Corporate and Hotels SOP related to Finance.
Assist the Development team in as the Finance lead.
Consolidate Hotels Business unit results & Management Company financial result within Liberty Corporation Global Financial.
Lead Property Asset Management.
Operations /Controls:
Increases operational performance review on key owned and managed hotels.
Benchmarks performance and productivity metrics across hotels to improve performance.
Ensure Hotels & Management Company cash flows are monitored and at all times maintain.
Utilizes Audit and Finance review results to develop comprehensive strategy to address improvement areas.
Shares best practices.
Leverages divisional IT resources and systems to ensure enhanced collaboration.
Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Hotels Accounting
Collate & consolidate the hotels monthly financial statement into a monthly report “MIR” in accordance with international hotel industry standards according to generally accepted accounting principles.
Create a new LHMC Financial performance report.
Supervise the Corporate Cost Control deployment with basic principle of assisting the hotels operation.
Financial Systems & Organization:
Ensure at all times that both Mgt. Company & hotels are in full compliance with Vietnamese accounting law and standards & adhere to legal financial practice.
Coordinate all resource for the SMILES PMS / BO migration success
Complete Corporate team inclusive of Accounting, Credit, Acct payable, Reporting, Auditing, Cost Control & Purchasing.
Establish annual detailed budgets and financial forecast to be approved by the BOD of each property, the property owner and the Group.
Establish Financial Audit calendar and supervise execution.
Job requirement
Education: University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, and Economics preferred. Experience: minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a senior finance leadership position, with emphasis on financial analysis and controls in the Hotel /Hospitality sector.
Hotel financial controller experience & background is a plus.
Fluent in English speaking
The ability to manage a wide variety of complex tasks and how to manage a team.
Creativity as a problem solver and out of the box thinker.
